Teddy's Saturday Stack O'Stuff for April 2, 2022
#1 - Bill Maher once again goes scorched Earth on the left.
Last night on HBO, Maher railed against everything these hypocrites claim they stand for; from Hollywood celebrities giving Will Smith a standing ovation just minutes after he assaulted Chris Rock in front of the entire world, to the NYT and WaPo ignoring Hunter Biden’s laptop for two years.
The big question now: When will Maher officially declare that he’s “politically homeless” and registering as an independent?
BILL MAHER:
"So the New York Post got a hold of what was in the computer. And, you know, because the New York Post is a Republican paper, and The New York Times and The Washington Post are the Democratic paper[s]… And the Republican paper, Twitter… canceled their account! They can't even report on this story.”
“And now two years later, The New York Times and The Washington Post have come around and say, ‘Okay, there was something there.'"
"It looks like the left-wing media just buried the story because it wasn't part of their narrative and that's why people don't trust the media."
#2 - The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is a U.S. Government complex of four sites with deep underground storage caverns created in salt domes along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coasts.
The SPR was filled to its then 727 million barrel authorized storage capacity on December 27, 2009. That’s the highest number of barrels ever held in the SPR.
I was curious how many barrels we have right now.
But when you click on the Energy.gov link for the current inventory, here’s what comes up:
Brandon’s plan to tap the SPR for 180 million barrels of oil over the next 180 days will be like “would be like pressing the nuclear button on oil markets”.
BLOOMBERG:
“A 180 million barrel sale from the current reserve would reduce the stockpile to just 388 million barrels, the lowest levels since 1984 and barely more than half-full.”
#3 - This should be the number one story in the world right now.
That’s why I saved it for number three.
You never know what golden nuggets of knowledge you might find as you scroll down Teddy’s Substack.
UK intelligence reports: China launched a massive cyber operation against the Ukrainian military and its nuclear facilities BEFORE Russia began its invasion.
The Jerusalem Post reports that, “the attacks began prior to the end of the Winter Olympics in Beijing” and peaked on February 23.
Russian forces invaded Ukraine the next day. China's goal in the attacks was “to steal data and explore ways to shut down Ukrainian defenses and civilian infrastructure.”
Is anyone in the U.S. military aware of this? And if so, what do they plan to do about it?
#4 - Biden could lower gas prices real quick by simply returning to Trump-era policies and tearing up the executive order banning the Keystone XL pipeline.
Former CKE Restaurants CEO Andy Pudzer in the Daily Mail:
“If we can bring down prices at the pump by increasing the supply of oil – and we all now acknowledge that we can – then why not let the energy sector loose and encourage it to increase supply in a sustainable way?”
“On taking office Biden almost immediately killed the Keystone XL pipeline that could have supplied American refineries with abundant oil from Canada.”
“He withheld permits for drilling in ANWR, the Gulf of Mexico, and other federal lands.”
#5 - Anyone still wearing a mask outside in April 2022 will almost certainly be a mask-wearer for life.
OurWorldInData shows Covid-19 cases in America are at the lowest point since this whole Covid bullshit started in early March 2020.
#6 - U.S. News & World Report with Earth-shattering news:
"Poor Mental Health Common Among Students During COVID"
Data from a nationally representative survey of high school students taken during the first half of 2021 shows:
37% of students reported experiencing poor mental health either most of the time or always during the pandemic
44% students also reported feeling persistently sad or hopeless within the past year
Nearly 20% saying they’d seriously considered attempting suicide
9% attempted suicide in that time period
Hold up…
Nearly one in five high school kids thought about killing themselves during Covid, and nearly one in ten actually tried to commit suicide?
We already have a drug overdose crisis in America, with over >100,000 overdose deaths in 2020. Many depressed and despondent young people try to self-medicate with street drugs.
If 20% of high school students are feeling suicidal, and nearly half feel ‘persistently sad or hopeless’, that’s a five alarm fire mental health crisis for America’s youth.
#7 - ALBUM REVIEW: Red Hot Chili Peppers - “Unlimited Love”
Listened to this album this morning.
This album actually has some decent musical moments. Guitarist John Frusciante returns after 16 years to team up with Flea and Will Farrell’s twin brother for funky interludes and noodling.
But Anthony Kiedis burps up some of the cringy-est lyrics my ears have ever been exposed to. To make matters worse, Kiedis suddenly decided to put a huge emphasis on enunciating his syllables.
Most painful, obvious example is this sea chanty from the first single, ‘Black Summer':
The night is dressed like noon
A sailor spoke too soon
And China's on the dark side of the moon
These lyrics are the polar opposite of cool. “A sailor spoke too soon and China’s on the dark side of the moon?”
Really, Tony? Are you kidding me, bro?
It sucks when a band that you loved descends into self-parody.
RATING: 42/100
#8 - Popcorn-worthy trailer for a new documentary called ‘Rigged 2020’ about Globalist Metaprick Mark Zuckerberg’s corrupt involvement in fixing the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
#9 - Huge college hoops game in tonight’s Final Four: Duke vs. North Carolina.
I feel bad for NC State students, fans and alumni in Raleigh-Durham that have to live in the same city as these spoiled brats.
Duke and North Carolina are way more prestigious universities, their graduates make way more money, and they are way better at basketball.
If you are an NC State fan, are you seriously going to watch your two hated cross-town rivals play each other in the Final Four?
Or firing up the YouTube app to watch the Jim Valvano-led Wolfpack beat Houston on a miraculous buzzer beater to win the 1983 national championship game for the 756th time?
#10 - For some reason, Covid truth-teller Alex Berenson keeps crushing his credibility by bashing Ivermectin. Alex failed to read the details. All of these studies were specifically designed to FAIL.
Because if Ivermectin works, the Emergency Use Authorization for Covid-19 mRNA vaccines immediately ends.
Alex totally ignores the protocol. Ivermectin should be administered early. This new study bashing Ivermectin provided patients with pills after they were already hospitalized.
