George Soros is a 91 year old Hungarian-born American businessman and philanthropist with a net worth of $8.6 billion.
This year he has already donated $126 million to influence the November 8, 2022 midterm elections in the United States.
That $126 million is considered chump change for Soros. He has previously donated more than $32 billion to his Open Society Foundations.
Check out the list of top outside donors for 2022 on OpenSecrets.org.
Soros has donated nearly $100 million more than the second highest donor.
Seven years ago, Russia banned George Soros and his Open Society foundation, saying they posed a threat to state security and the Russian constitution.
“Russia’s General Prosecutor’s Office said two branches of Soros’ charity network - the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation - would be placed on a “stop list” of foreign non-governmental organizations whose activities have been deemed “undesirable” by the Russian state.”
Statement from Russia: “It was found that the activity of the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation represents a threat to the foundations of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation and the security of the state.”
Usually I would share this tidbit of information via Twitter.
But since I got suspended from Twitter for the FIFTH time in ten months today for “spreading Covid-19 misinformation”, hope you enjoyed the shortest post in Teddy Brosevelt substack history.
Great job keeping everyone informed, Teddy, my friend. Love ya bro!
