Dana DeBeauvoir Under Investigation & Austin Goes Green
The following are a few Austin news stories from December 12, 2020.
Paris Climate Agreement Lives On In Austin
The mayor and the City of Austin tweeted about being part of the Paris climate agreement. When Trump took us out of the Paris climate agreement, Adler and his council of clown mayors committed to still follow it. He made this commitment even though he jetsets around the world in his private plane.
mayor adler paris agreement
Adler and his fellow clowns turned city hall green while 20 feet away there are homeless people camping with trash everywhere. The reason City Hall is not covered in tents and trash is because the tyrants at City Hall forbid homeless from camping at their workplace. Isn't that so compassionate of them???
austin city hall green
These geniuses at City Hall didn’t decide to do this Paris agreement green lighting themselves either. It appears that every city that is part of their little disobedience coalition did this as well. The group of climate conscious cities is called c40 cities. You can check them out on twitter.
How many members of city council ride the bus? How many own energy efficient homes with less than 1,000 square feet? I’m guessing none.
Social contract sign up (free speech police)
Austin Culturemap wrote an article about the City of Austin signing on to a social contract in their latest city council meeting. The signing on to this new social contract is actually just a weird social justice flex, but it is interesting because it could be a sign of more to come. Could this be part of a new thought police in Austin? We will just have to keep a close eye on city council agendas going forward.
The City of Austin will sign a social contract to be nice. The idea came from something called the Compassion 2020 project. There is a contract associated with Compassion 2020.
There are 7 parts of the compassion contract that the city plans to adopt.
1. Be respectful 2. Listen to understand 3. Act with good intentions 4. Support ideas with evidence and experience 5. Disagree without being disagreeable 6. Critique the idea not the person 7. Invite wonder
You have to jump through a couple hoops to see who is actually behind this weird social justice warrior campaign.
Behind Compassion 2020 is an organization called Citizen Discourse. Behind Citizen Discourse is a liberal founder who used to be part of the anti defamation league. No surprise there. We can expect the city council to pay Citizen Discourse millions of dollars in consulting fees in the future to help brainwash city employees.
It seems like their founder violated number 6 of the contract.
She called Trump a loser as you can see in the image above. How dare she do that? That hurt my feelings. Can she write me a handwritten apology letter now?
I think Jimmy Flannigan and Greg Casar would be in blatant violation of all parts of this social contract. What do you think?
Dana Debeauvoir under second criminal investigation
KXAN actually wrote up an article about a second criminal investigation into Dana Debeauvoir. The secretary of state of Texas forwarded a recommendation to Ken Paxton to investigate Dana related to her restricting access to poll watcher Jennifer Fleck and others.
If Dana is convicted for obstructing a poll watcher, she could face a $4,000 fine or a year in jail.
This is the second referral since September 2020. Dana is really racking up her criminal record this year.
There have been accusations against Dana in the past that did not become criminal investigations as well. One example is Laura Pressley’s lawsuit related to her city council race against Comrade Greg Casar.
Oracle Moves Headquarters To Austin
It was recently announced that Oracle will move their HQ to Austin, Texas. Just another example of Californians and other west coast folk abandoning the disasters they created to help create new ones in Texas.
They don't realize that Austin faces many of the same issues they were hoping to leave behind.
This follows moves by Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, HP and Tesla to Austin this year.
